Another as yet unidentified operator on the SM-LL series, UAN0006/R locks into four wickedly offset permutations that may make their way to certain ‘floors. ‘El Tart’ nails a trippy sort of raving in a wind-tunnel effect with its molasses flow of lowest bas and bullet-timed torsion, whereas ‘Lettra’ opens out with a sort of precision tooled halfstep swang - but trust there’s no drops. ‘Atte-l-r’ pushes into the EP’s weirdest, squirming shapes, and ‘RTLTAE’ deals in a sort of quasi-speed electro punctuated by cattle prod zaps and ringing ‘tronics.”
